About Adora Adeyemi

From a young age, Adora had simultaneous passions for Music and for Film/TV. Her passion for Music started with playing instruments growing up which led her to explore music production/composition. Her passion for Film/TV started with a fascination for both reading and watching stories, which led her to pursue scriptwriting. She graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English and minors in Business Studies and Music to cater her education towards both the creative and business aspects of these passions. She's had experience working at my school's Department of Performing Arts, at her campus' literary magazine (for which she received an award for my arts-focused writing), at Paramount Global and, most recently, at Entertainment 360. She also acquired her first film music composing credit with the short film DEPARTING and continues to use her musical ability to compose and produce music. These dual interests aren't separate but reflect her love for storytelling in all mediums. All along her strongest interest lay at the marriage of these worlds, so she is pursuing a career in Music for Film and TV, aspiring to work in Music Composition/Supervision. As a Nigerian-American, her ultimate goal is to bring African music/narratives to the forefront both in the stories we watch onscreen and in the music that accompanies them.

Adora's Experience

My name is Adora and I previously worked as an Executive Assistant to a Partner/literary and talent manager at the talent management company Entertainment 360. I graduated from Georgetown University in 2024 with a B.A. in English and minors in Business Studies and Music. My time at Entertainment 360 gave me experience in thriving in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. My problem-solving skills were gained from conducting media rights research, liaising between departments, tracking monetary and legal matters, and organizing documents. Previously, my two summers spent as an intern at Paramount Global under BET and MTV gave me first-hand experience in supporting entertainment executives through research projects. I catered my college education towards my passions for Music and Film, through classes such as Scriptwriting, Film Studies, and Music and Sound in Film, while also learning about the Business/Legal aspects (including licensing) through courses such as Music Industry Seminar and my Business minor. Outside the classroom, my time as a Production Assistant at my school’s Department of Performing Arts combined with my position as one of the heads of Georgetown’s literary magazine gave me experience in being organized, detail-oriented, and a smart decision-maker while maintaining my passion for media & entertainment. My experience as a composer for a short film saw me create/transport audio files and stems for the music I produced.
