Airyen's Experience

Airyen Vay is a r&b/ soul / pop singer/ songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Botosani, a small town in the north part of Romania in 1994, Vay discovered her passion for music at 9 years old, when she started to take vocal lessons and learn piano, flute and guitar. As a child she has been to numerous song contest and won most of the competitions. By using a slow piano on top of an upbeat tempo, all shaped in a romantic light, her music makes you feel liberated and it drives you in world where you can be anything you ever wanted to be. Her latest single “Breathe” is perhaps her most ambitious project to date, Airyen Vay hopes that “Breathe” can inspire listeners to bring about positive change in the world. In the forthcoming video for the self-penned anthem “Breathe,” Airyen encourages the world’s youth to make their voices heard. The singer delivers a stirring vocal performance that will resonate with listeners who feel trapped by the expectations and beliefs of those around them. Through her uplifting and infectious pop vocals, she encourages youth protest and younger generations to bring about positive change in the world. “At its heart, this track is about fighting for what is right, no matter what controversy it may cause or how others around you might react to it,” says Airyen. “Make your voice heard is the message.” Throughout the song, she continually uses the chorus to plead with listeners to just “breathe” and not allow themselves to be suffocated by a fear of upsetting others. Airyen Vay`s music is all about choices , memories ,romance, intimacy and vulnerability. With a soulful, emotive voice she describes the sensitivity, the kindness, but also the needs and strength of a woman. A child of the Winter Solstice, Airyen Vay translates through out her music the warm vibes of her adoptive city, Los Angeles, into themes of love, equality, human rights, freedom and togetherness. Currently, Airyen is working on her first album, which promises to have high expectations.
