Allison Lynne Farler is an American singer and songwriter born in Lima, OH. Alli5on released her debut single titled “With Me” in May 2018. She followed that release with another single titled “Purpose” in August 2018, shortly after moving to Los Angeles, CA. Alli5on is set to release her debut EP in the upcoming months of Q1. The EP is titled “The Fifth House”. The 5 in her name as well as the title of her EP is in reference to astrology. She is a Leo, thus the 5th sign of the zodiac. Alli5on’s style of music has been described as r&b, pop, soul, and chillwave. She is known to write about love, lust, life, and the will to express yourself. Her influences include SZA, Jhene Aiko, and Solange Knowles among others.

Allison's Experience

I write all of my own music. I begin creating by first listening to the instrumental. The instrumental creates the emotion of the song, so once I hear it, it gives me an idea of what I want to write about. Each time I create a song it is different. Sometimes I begin by writing the verse, other times the hook may come first, or even a bridge; it really just depends. For my upcoming EP, I tracked/recorded the majority of my vocals myself.
