Anna's Experience

Anna Garcia Lascurain’s love of music and film led her to a career in music supervision and licensing. After graduating from New York University with a Bachelors of Music, she got her start at Search Party in New York. While at Search Party she music supervised commercials for a number of brands including Google, Starbucks, Target, Cadillac, Chevy, and American Express, as well as worked on films such as Grey Gardens, The Vow, and Friends with Kids. From there she made her way to renowned indie label Sub Pop Records where she held the position of Director of Licensing. While at Sub Pop, she helped procure licenses for Sub Pop’s vast catalog in numerous television programs, films, and advertising campaigns. Based in Austin, TX, Anna is currently a producer and music supervisor for global creative audio network Squeak E. Clean Studios.
