Ashley's Experience

I have experience performing unaccompanied and with electronics, chamber music experience, and performing with larger ensembles. My research has gotten me into public speaking and lecturing about the importance of diversity and representation within music, as well as how to incorporate these ideas into individual programs. The Institute for Composer Diversity has helped me gain the tools for social media promotion, marketing, editing projects, creating a magazine, and overseeing the creation of new music databases online to promote and celebrate the works of underrepresented composers.
