My name’s Amanda Van West and — aside from having a last name that artfully evokes the image of a family vehicle heading towards a glorious sunset — I have 15+ years of marketing, content and community engagement experience across live music, entertainment & tech. In my current role as Marketing Director at Another Planet Entertainment, I oversee all aspects of marketing for the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, as well as our arena & stadium-level shows. Human connection is at the heart of everything I’ve loved working on — whether it’s connecting fans to their favorite artists, or developing content and community engagement strategies that bring people together and brands to life. I live with my husband Michael and my daughter Ava (born June 2024) in Oakland, California.
