About ❦ Band of Muses ❦

Enter the mystical realm of Band of Muses, where the elusive flame of rock & roll ignites a numinous odyssey beyond the modern sound sphere. Emerging from the otherworldly mist of Los Angeles, are sisterly sorceresses, Penny-Scarlett Muse and Daisy Rose Muse. Together, they weave an enchanting tapestry of psychedelic folk-rock laced with cosmic country, luring listeners into their lavishly transcendent universe. Inspired by the free-spirited essence of the 60s Laurel Canyon music scene with a heavy nod to the golden era of 70s rock grandeur, Band of Muses crafts a genre-bending experience of avant-garde sound and spirit. Their music moves like a séance and hits like a cosmic exorcism—a slow burn that simmers with hypnotic tension, lo-fi bite, and something strangely untamed. Penny-Scarlett and Daisy Rose masterfully bridge the echoes of the past with the spirit of the present, casting light on the future through their songwriting. Call it instinct, call it artful madness—they write from the outer fringe of the psyche, where dream, myth and memory alchemize into sound and stardust. Penny-Scarlett and Daisy Rose are only just beginning to lift the veil—and they’ve saved you a seat at the séance.

❦ Band of Muses' Experience

We write, record, engineer and produce all of Band of Muses’ original music. This includes developing lyrics and melodies, arranging instrumentals, and engineering vocal and instrumental sessions. We oversee the full creative process from shaping the sonic identity of each song to collaborating on the visual and conceptual elements of the project. Every recording is self-produced in Los Angeles recording studio, Songbirds Sounds, where all sound and visual elements merge to bring each track into its final form.
