ARYSS is an artist who seems to exist only in paradoxes - both timeless and current, raw and refined, cinematic and intimate. While she bares her heart and breaks it in the same breath, ARYSS' piano-driven pop ballads serve to immortalize the defining moments of life, love, and love gone wrong. Originally from Strathmore, AB, her career began at 17 under given name, Kirstyn Johnson, when the singer saw success in a nation-wide talent competition hosted on Much Music. After the contest ended she released her debut album “Our Weapon” and went on to pursue an education in Music Business through Berklee. Since moving to Toronto in 2019, ARYSS has been working with artists on and off the stage as a songwriter, pianist, vocalist, and producer. With over a decade's experience stitching stories to melodies and writing with collaborators internationally, her debut release is expected in fall of 2021.
