Caroline's Experience

As a Producer, I analyze trending musical genres to create live and virtual events that will appeal to our student population. My success in this position depends heavily upon my personal understanding of the contemporary musical landscape. Collaborating with artist management, student graphic designers, and external partners has taught me how to realize a collective creative vision while managing a complex workflow on a team. Furthermore, my role as Stanford Concert Network’s Financial Officer has equipped me to meet a music company’s detailed-oriented, organizational demands. As Financial Officer, I lead long-term budgeting efforts and handle all payments to artists, businesses, and contractors. My responsibilities include overseeing an annual large-scale music festival and an overall budget of over half a million dollars. Serving as a financial leader has allowed me to develop the organizational dexterity necessary to assists with catalog tracking and data gathering. In addition to the industry exposure I have gained through this work, I have developed an understanding of social media strategy as an intern for TeachAids, a leading nonprofit social enterprise. As a digital marketing intern, I wrote content for several platforms and strategically adapted the organization’s messaging to boost audience engagement on its website and various social media accounts. My work at TeachAids has made me well prepared to advocate for the interests of artists, labels, and companies with passion and clarity.
