About Christine Hufenbecher

My passion for music began when I was a little girl growing up in Germany. Coming from a multi-cultural family, I was raised with all sorts of genres: classical, pop, rock, latin, soul etc. When I was 7 years old I started playing the piano and composing at age 13 and had a natural gift for it. When I moved to the US at age 17 and went on to College and Grad School, music was always part of my life and studies. I did several music internships for no money, just to get my foot in the door and build relationships. I then worked for a music marketing agency in NYC for a couple of years until I fell into artist and songwriter management. I was hired as a day to day music manager by one of Lady Gaga's first managers who discovered her in NYC. He moved me from NYC to LA in 2012 and opened all doors for me there with creatives and in the label and publisher world. We managed 7 writers/producers who had songs with top artists like Celine Dion, Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo, Lil Jon, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez etc. A few years later Randy Jackson from American Idol called and hired me to be on his music management team, managing 6 writers/producers. After 4 years I decided to leave the world of management in late 2018 to build an unconventional studio with an engineer friend of mine. We turned a 30ft RV into a top of the line mobile recording, production, experiential studio! My initial idea behind it was to give creatives a new outlet to find inspiration by taking their craft out of the norm and hit the beach, mountains, desert to write, produce, record. I partnered with Kenny Moran, an amazing sound engineer who works with Earth Wind & Fire, JLO, Whitney, Lauryn Hill, Chaka Khan etc. He designed and built the studio into what it is now. We launched at NAMM in January 2019. Over the past year we have done music sessions, audiobooks, meditation and sound healing projects. Then we organically got pulled into the event and festival space by Fender and 1500 Sound Academy and got introduced to more music brands. Now we're in talks for big projects this year with ASCAP, istandard, Dynaudio, Blue Mic, Avid and more. Part of our business model has an educational focus, doing mobile mentorship sessions, taking them to schools, music events, song camps etc and sharing business and creative knowledge. Being able to work with established creatives and taking their knowledge with our studio to aspiring creatives means a lot to us. The creative possibilities with this mobile studio are endless!

Christine' Experience

I have found myself building relationships and then making connections between people. The fact that I come from a creative background and now work in music business gives me a different viewpoint on things. The mobile studio idea developed from seeing writers I worked with every day working in the same environment with the same people trying to find new inspiration.
