She Is The Music

About Colleen Welsch

I’m a pop songwriter/producer and a retro-inspired alt country artist. I love old music (especially from the 70s). If I’m not in my attic studio, I’m probably sitting on the deck reading a music biography.

Colleen's Experience

I’m a songwriter, producer, and artist. I’ve used my skills to producer tracks for others, including Ashley Brooke Toussant’s gentle folk cover of AC/DC’s “TNT” for Cleveland Verses. I have other collaborations releasing in the next few months. My solo debut album as an artist will drop in 2023.

She Is The Music PresentsWomen Sharing the Spotlight

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
