Diana Pou is a Singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actress from Dominican Republic based in New York City. Diana's music career started at the early age of 6 years playing classical piano at the National conservatory of Music in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Her many ways of expressing and making art took her to New York City to study Musical Theatre at AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) and then continuing her Acting training at The William Esper Studio. After dedicating herself to Theater & Films for the past 13 years, it wasn't enough and there was always that need to create music. 2 years ago Diana formed with her husband the music duo "Gilberto&Diana" with which they've released two original songs available in all digital music platforms. After forming the duo they were invited to sing as part of Maluma's band at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards and have performed in several local bars & clubs from uptown Manhattan. Diana was also one of the selected Dominican singers to perform at SOB'S in 2018 for the "Dominican Sounds Music Festival" where the emergent Dominican talent abroad was showcased. At the moment Diana is currently producing her EP alongside with her husband. They've self taught themselves to use every equipment they already have and are playing around with homemade sounds to create a fresh and new style.
