I am a multi-media photographer, content creator, and founder of the London-based music publication Why Generation. Why Generation curates concerts and creates an online platform where fans can discover content from their favourite musicians. With the tagline “For the misfits, the moshers, the late-night rockers,” Why Generation is committed to fostering inclusion, supporting bands at all stages of their careers, and providing an opportunity for up-and-coming writers and photographers in the UK. I have experience in marketing, press, and as a touring photographer and content creator. I love live music and everything that goes into it, and have recently founded my day festival, Why Generation Presents: Generation Misfits.

I have worked as a live music and portrait photographer for many years, working with musicians to create press photos, album artwork and gig photography. I create all the content for my publication Why Generation, and utilise my graphic designer skills to produce interesting, and catching social media posts.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.
