She Is The Music

About Emily O’Neal

Emily O'Neal is a pop singer/songwriter from Jacksonville, FL who is currently studying songwriting and music business at Middle Tennessee State University. “To make people feel less alone in the world”: That is O’Neal’s goal with her music. Her safe place is at her piano writing catchy hooks and sincere lyrics that relate to others through honest experiences. Her original studio-version songs feature shimmering pop vocals over rhythmic, Alternative inspired instrumentation, while her live shows include stripped down, acoustic versions along with her favorite cover songs. Her debut single, REVOLVE AROUND YOU, is out now on all streaming platforms.

She Is The Music PresentsWomen Sharing the Spotlight

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
