Melbourne singer-songwriter, Emily Soon is fitted with an unmistakable voice and songwriting to contest. Spending a memorable part of the last few years crafting her own stories of growing up, her lyrics will have you captivated far beyond a song’s end. Since her last studio release, Emily’s writing has gone from strength to strength with the guidance of Olivia Hally and Pepita Emmerichs (Oh Pep!), Clare Reynolds, Henry Wagons, and more. Going forward, she says, “For me, it’s about the song. There’s something really special about one person pouring their heart out on stage to a quiet room. I’d like to do more of that”.
