Emma's Experience

My passion within the music and creative industry was amplified through my experience as a professional singer in Indonesia. For 2 years I made my own music connections with producers, labels, and managers, released 5 singles with media, tv and radio promotions and releases on DSPs, and led my team in my label for social media marketing. At Emerson college, I am passionate about my acapella group, Skintones. As an e-board member and communications manager, I make sure that the group’s strong community (our image) is shown, attend weekly meetings, and make sure opportunities to showcase our group’s talent are made possible through efficient and effective communication. I’m also on the writing and promotion team at WERS 88.9, Boston’s Uncommon Radio. It is an honor to be part of a radio that the locals in Boston enjoy listening to. I enjoy being on both ends of the work, working with a team behind the scenes to promote music through writing about recommended music, and promoting through live events, tabling at concerts for the radio and engaging with the local community in-person and experiencing concerts in Boston.
