About Lezlie Chang

Empress SunBow is a healing dance music project created by Leslie Chang. A Chinese Canadian singer songwriter / multi-instrumentalist / music producer (432hz) who currently resides in Vancouver BC. All of her music is inspired by the wisdom she learned from her healing journey. Weaving elements of glitchop, triphop, trap, pop, folk, etheric and psychedelic music. Her music evokes feelings of traveling in space, blessed by galactic angels while the feet planted on the ground. Touching a deep part of our souls that yearns to be felt.

Lezlie's Experience

As I heal and get in touch with my higher self, music is born. As I create the songs, the songs create me. I gather wisdom, feelings, insights and turn them into words and melodies. I then translate that into vocals, beats and otherworldly soundscape through music production with Ableton Live. The next step is to weave these songs into live performances. I envision my live shows to be soul-touching opulent immersive sonic visual deep healing journeys inside geodesic domes and other indoor and outdoor theatre spaces.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together.
