Emily's Experience

As a venue marketing manager, I am responsible for coordinating with promoters to market upcoming touring events as well as internal stakeholders to support private events and brand the venue itself. I manage web, social, signage, partnership activations, influencer collaborations, grassroots and more. Developed the new venue’s brand identity via creative and content. Before stepping into venue marketing and while earning my degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida, I worked at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center/ Exactech Arena, home of Gator basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, concerts, private events and more. I began as an event staff crew member and eventually worked my way up to Event Staff Division Head, responsible for hiring, training and promoting event staff supervisors. I was also selected as the Gator Football Lead, responsible for overseeing all parking operations on campus on game days. As a music festival producer, I co-produced Heartwood Music Festival, a multi-day festival across 3 stages in Gainesville, FL.
