About Grace Ritter

My name is Grace Ritter and I’m 21 and grew up in Dallas, Texas. I have been a drummer since the age of 6 and was very involved with it through many bands and groups through middle and high school. I originally attended Rochester Institute of Technology for Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering. Last summer I was working at Blackbird Studios in Nashville doing a Studio Co-Op/Internship. I had an amazing experience, and it really cemented that I was in the right industry and how much I love music and Audio Engineering. I was also a recording engineer for RIT’s new recording studio working in tandem with the school's college radio station, WITR. After the first semester of my 3rd year at RIT I exhausted the classes in audio engineering-related courses and determined I needed to transfer. I then transferred to Full Sail University for Recording Arts. At Full Sail, I'm very involved with the club Loud Ladies. I have also been working at Station House Records since 2017, a record label and I have been actively involved in recording sessions, mixing suggestions, and artist identification. I also currently am also a freelance Audio Engineer. I do recording, mixing, sound design and editing, and other audio and sound-related services. I am a member of SoundGirls, the Audio Engineering Society, and a Grammy U member.
