About Heba Itani

I am a Recording Arts student at Full Sail University. When I'm not being a student, I'm an enthusiastic violist with a specialization in percussion and strings. I now get to combine my love of live audio with my creative vision as a mix engineer and front-of-house engineer. I'm proud to be Arab American and use my platform to support underrepresented voices in the music business. In addition, I serve as president of the "Loud Ladies," a group that supports female students attending Full Sail University I also represent "She is U," a program that encourages and promotes women in the arts, as an ambassador. I can't wait to keep causing waves in the Entertainment industry!

Throughout my teen years, I play with orchestras and bands of many genres. As I am transitioning into college, my skillset is widening and improving everyday. Being a Recording Arts student at Full Sail University, I get to have hands-on time with the best and newest equipment out in the industry. This has taught me so much about recording, mixing, producing, and so on.

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
