My name is Isabel Kingsley and I am a 19-year-old singer/songwriter from California! I am currently a third-year Ethnomusicology major and Music Industry/Film doule minor attending UCLA. My goal in life is to become a changemaker in the music industry - utilizing my original songs to enact impactful change in my communities. My style is similar to that of Lizzy McAlpine, Gracie Abrams, Allen Stone, and Brandi Carlile. Some of my recent musical achievements include performances at the Kennedy Center as a winner of their VSA International Young Musicians Competition, the grand prize of Taco Bell's Live Más Passion Scholarship, the West Coast Song Competition (overall runner-up and category winner), the Music Biz Association Scholarship, the KRMF Music Scholarship, and more! One of my most recent creative projects, an original release called "Devil's Priase", is meant to be a rallying cry for change surrounding sexual and domestic abuse. The music that I create is very personal to me but is also a resource to anyone who connects with the message! My upcoming album, "You Forgot My Birthday" (releasing Fall of 2023), is my way of breaking the silence surrounding systemic issues and stigmas that oftentimes bring women in music down. Feel free to reach out to me on any platform, I'd love to connect!
