I am striving towards becoming more involved in the music industry. I have worked with EqualizeHer as a correspondent, connecting with women in the music industry. It has deeply made an impact on me and seeking more of those communities!

Isabella's Experience

I’ve developed my songwriting and singing skills through a mix of hands-on practice and community involvement. I participated in songwriting workshops where I received constructive feedback from industry professionals and peers, helping me refine my lyrical voice and storytelling style. Being in conversations with women in the industry also gave me valuable insight into writing with authenticity and purpose. In addition, working as a photographer for artists gave me behind-the-scenes exposure to the creative process, inspiring me to explore my own artistry more deeply. I regularly write to strengthen both my songwriting and vocal abilities and plan on recording again within the next few months.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
