I am a singer, rapper, dancer, and producer from the Bronx, New York. My love for poetry, vocal background in school choirs, and organic experiences freestyling in street cyphers came together to encourage me to stud music production and dance at USC while I pursued my degree in NGOs and Social Change. I was studying to enhance my ability to serve my communities, but I also came of age and realised my duty to myself- to follow my passion and pursue a career as a world class touring artist. Now, while working as the Community Engangement Coordinator at Black Trans Femmes in the Arts, I am pursuing my musical dreams, busting my chops on the stages of NYC. I am currently in the process of completing my first recording project, A Silver Lining EP. On this project, I will introduce the world to JAYKAYPRIME! and my Peppeh Soup Pop sound-- a mix that traverses hip-hop, rnb, afrobeats, conga, ballroom, and EDM in a unique dance pop package.
