Vocalist, Educator, Songwriter, pusher of love, justice, freedom, content creator, and idea bank. Born and raised in NYC, moved to Philly for college, stayed for a bit, taught, performed and formed a band, Jeanette Berry and the Soul Nerds. Sang with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, toured singing background for Ms. Lauryn Hill, opened up for P. Funk and the Ohio Players, played up and down the east coast with my band. Went back to school, earned a Graduate degree in the Humanities with a specialization in Transmedia Storytelling (Think MCU or Pirates of the Caribbean franchise). Many different dreams and goals. Jeanette's Experience

I’ve worked as a touring background singer, writer for hooks for rap songs, written original songs for myself, performed around the east coast in clubs with my band Jeanette Berry and the Soul Nerds and other bands in the NY Tristate area. I’ve also taught ensembles and choirs at the collegiate level.
