Jess's Experience

I’ve applied these skills in a variety of scenarios, to a variety of genres. I find I’m mostly approached by female-fronted projects, usually at the local, independent level. At their request, I usually perform on the tracks I produce (I’m a multi-instrumentalist). Pre-production and recording is usually done in home studios, with some critical tracking done in professional studios. If not producing, I’m usually mix engineering in my home studio. Again, this is for artists at the local level and have usually found me through word-of-mouth. Overall, most of the skills are applied to artists at the local level, taking a DIY approach. I also perform as a guitarist for-hire, either session work or live performances. I love being able to just be the musician some times and take direction from others!
