She Is The Music

About Jessica Lattman

I am a songwriter based in NYC. My favorite genres are pop piano ballads, pop-country, and EDM. I love to co-write and collaborate with other talented artists. I play the piano, guitar and sing. My "day job" is working as a plastic surgeon in my own private practice in NYC. My first passion in life was to be a doctor. But when I found song writing about 12 years ago my life was changed again. It has become an all consuming passion for me...which I love.

Jessica's Experience

I am at the beginning of my music career. I spent the last 10 years learning and honing my craft. I have written hundreds of songs and made pitch-able demos for about 20 songs. I am working with a publisher to pitch my music to other artists and for synch licensing.

She Is The Music PresentsWomen Sharing the Spotlight

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
