How many times have they told you that you can't be a music producer? And how many others that you can't do Hip Hop? My name is Jenifer but everyone calls me "J". I'm from Tenerife, Canary Islands and I plan to dedicate myself to what I'm passionate about. I've always loved rap, my favourite artist is undoubtedly Lauryn Hill. She has been a great referent together with Tupac and Eminem in the Hip Hop culture. When I heard Lauryn Hill's album "The Miseducation" and Eminem's "The Eminem Show", I said: it would be amazing to create such masterpieces. However, pursuing that dream had to wait a few more years. In 2014 I finished my studies as a sound technician, after having studied audiovisuals, and worked in several companies that ran theatres, auditoriums, festivals, etc. Years later I decided to train with the best Hip Hop music producer in Spain, Soma. He gave me the courage to face this "man's world" and revive that dream of being one of the best producers in the world. Thanks to my commitment to my training as a music producer I participated in the first "Indomables Elite". A retreat for music producers from different parts of the world where we exchanged knowledge, learnt about mindset, NLP, networking, marketing, sales, online business, etc. In addition, we had the pleasure to meet and work in several workshops with Borja Niso, Ruben Cañera (Ambkor Manager), Porta and Zpu. It was a great experience. Currently, I have decided to go all-in on my music business mixing and mastering the songs of new Hip Hop promises. Although it's a slow process, I feel I'm doing the right thing. I am willing to work with any artist who is committed to work seriously and shares similar values to mine.
