She Is The Music

About Jimena Cabrera

Hi! I'm Jimena Cabrera, a bilingual singer/songwriter born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've released several albums and singles as an independent artist. My songs mix the fresh boldness of pop with a distinct poetic style which tap into themes such as love, heartbreak, freedom and identity. When I'm not writing new music or sharing my stories in front of a live audience, I enjoy teaching singing and working as a freelance songwriter. I truly believe it’s all about helping others grow and express themselves through music.

Jimena's Experience

As an independent artist, I’ve had the chance to write and interprete all songs I’ve produced in my previous records. It is such a joy to experience the freedom to create work that truly represents one’s aesthetic! In the future, I’m looking foward to collaborating with other singers and songwriters to create amazing music together. I’d love meet other fellow artists from around the globe and can keep on honing my craft.

She Is The Music PresentsWomen Sharing the Spotlight

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
