She Is The Music

About Kamryn Charles

Kamryn is a sound engineer with a very deep love for the creation of music. She is a singer songwriter who goes by the name of ‘Rosia’, but much prefers to be amplifying others voices rather than her own. She would love to gain experience in touring as a FOH engineer for a band or an artist once she graduates college, and already has experience in both studio recording and live recording.

Current Working Location

Kamryn's Experience

I have a YouTube channel, which is where I grow my video editing skills. I write songs for myself and my friends and have performed many of them. I am the manager of a small venue called Coffeehouse, hosted at the University of Miami’s Methodist church, and bring in local bands every Thursday to perform for the general public. We’ve grown in involvement 150% since I’ve been in charge.

She Is The Music PresentsWomen Sharing the Spotlight

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
