Kay's Experience

Hi, my artist name is Kilamanzego and I’m a music producer based in Philadelphia. The project started in 2015 and has been my main passion ever since. My musical focus is on bouncy electronic beats with touches of West African experimentalism, and lately I’ve started incorporating my vocals into my songs. Listen to my 2020 track “Black Weirdo”, which is the first track I’ve rapped on using my iPhone in my closet. I’ve received notable coverage from NPR, Okayplayer, Bandcamp, NTS Radio, Mad Decent (2020 show debut) and was featured on Andrew Huang’s Youtube show: 4 Producer’s 1 Sample. In terms of shows outside the U.S. that I’ve landed through my work alone, I’ve performed in Canada and Africa. I plan on releasing my full length debut in 2022.
