Kim's Experience

In my most recent role as Office Manager at Avant Gardner, I honed my abilities in the organization and management of an office space, as well as interpersonal skills with guests and associates. I demonstrated proficiency in assisting with event planning and execution, managing logistics and inventory, and coordinating directly with personal to ensure a clean and organized workspace. I served as the initial point of contact for employees, building management, and staff inquiries. As a Lighting Technician and Board Operator for Blue Man Group NYC, I operated both intelligent and generic lighting fixtures and equipment. I was trained in working at heights with heavy equipment and collaboration with other departments in stage production such as audio, carpentry, stage management, wardrobe, props, and backstage technicians. In addition, I demonstrated ability to maintenance, focus, and repairs made to our in-house theatrical equipment, as well as working with tools, machines, and consoles. Through this experience, I have mastered my ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining the artistic vision and direction of the designers and clients. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Radford University, majoring in Dance. During my time at Radford University, I also served in positions at various leadership organizations. These organizations included being an Ambassador for the College of Visual and Performing Arts, Student Government Association Senator for the College of Visual and Performing Arts, Community of Artist Leadership Team, and Trinkle Hall Council President. During my time serving these positions, I attended regular meetings contributing to and discussing plans about bettering the environment for the community of Radford University, including hosting of events and fundraisers, increasing showcases of art to the campus, and supplying various helpful resources for students to bring positive impact during their academic experience.
