About Kelsie Kimberlin

I am an American-Ukrainian singer-songwriter and I have been involved with music since childhood, going to concerts as a toddler, singing in church and children's choirs, and hanging out with my dad in the studio. At age eight, I participated in Yoko Ono's Peace Project and won first prize for my song and video against the war. I used the money for music lessons and started recording in the studio at eleven. I released my first video at age twelve and it got picked up on Taylor Swift's fancite which caused it to go viral and led to many invitations to Nashville. I spent my high school years in the studio recording hundreds of originals and then was discovered by a famous film director and music producer from Kyiv who invited me to Ukraine in 2019 to film three music videos. Just as I was getting to release the first one called "Lobotomy," COVID hit and I questioned whether I should release it. However, my dad's friend, Danny Goldberg, who managed Nirvana, urged me to release it and his instincts were right. It went viral with almost two million views, plays, streams, and global radio plays. Since then, I have released almost two dozen songs and have established a powerful social media presence. With the full-scale war in Ukraine and President Zelensky's call at the Grammys, I have spent a lot of time supporting Ukraine, and I even visited Ukraine in August 2023 where I filmed three music videos about the war and its effects. I was the first international artist to be allowed to film in the locations of the worst atrocities around Kyiv. I released all three and they have gone viral and received rave reviews. One publication said: "Across 'Armageddon,' 'Another Chance to Live Again,' and now 'Turn Back,' Kelsie Kimberlin has created one of the most impressive narratives of our times. While millions still suffer displacement, her music ensures their plight isn’t forgotten and urges support through shared humanity." After I returned from Ukraine, I launched the www.KelsieKimberlinFoundation.org to help Ukraine, including Ukrainian musicians who have been harmed or displaced by the war. I also recently traveled to Colombia where I worked with a famous Latin producer on two new songs and filmed music videos, including in the Tayrona National Park and the rainforest, where I filmed at a village of the indigenous WIWA tribe. I am currently working on a video for my song "Twinkle," about an adolescent transgender girl. In 2024, I will be releasing a boatload of music and videos.
