She Is The Music

About Kiara Skyler

Inspired by poetic clichés and rom-coms, Kiara Skyler writes songs that continue the narrative of yet another young adult and hopeless romantic searching for her place in the world. A current student and full-ride scholarship recipient at Berklee College of Music, Kiara dreams to emerge as the first Asian rockstar in her family.

Kiara's Experience

Hi, I’m Kiara! 🌱🌷 Currently, a a Berklee student with experience in live entertainment (both behind the scenes and onstage), and all things music. I’m also a freelance songwriter for EDM and Pop producers with over 800k streams across all music platforms. Much of my time is spent in the recording studio, and my personal artist project, Kiara Skyler, has recently surpassed 20k monthly listeners on Spotify. With an interest in songwriting, music education, and artist development, my goal is to break barriers and empower the next generation of AAPI artists in the recording music industry. IG: @kiaskyler

She Is The Music PresentsWomen Sharing the Spotlight

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
