Kyla's Experience

I have had many immersive professional experiences in the entertainment industry, particularly in live events and touring. For the past two semesters, I have held the role of Tour Marketing Intern at an Artist Management company where I focus on promotional campaigns for our artist’s live shows. This position has been invaluable as it has brought me an understanding of the practicalities of working in a team-based environment that is high energy and fast-paced, skills that are crucial for a member of your college marketing team. The role has taught me how to curate and maintain an artist’s brand online as well as through their touring. I have learned to manage numerous projects at once and practice effective communication with my fellow interns as well as amongst our team of artist managers. I believe that the communication and industry specific skills I have developed through this and other professional experiences prepared me well for my current project, Amina Artist Management. I would love to continue learning through the guidance of a mentor with a current position in management, A&R, and/or marketing.
