Lacey's Experience

I was the Public Relations Manager for The Femmatas, the all-female a cappella group at Texas A&M University, and created content, designed the group’s first EP cover and several print promotional materials, ran the group’s social media accounts, and performed roughly once a week. The following year as President, I served as the project manager for the group’s second EP, arranged one of the songs recorded for the second EP, and sang solos on two of the tracks. On the Large Scale Events committee of MSC Town Hall, Texas A&M’s student-run live music and entertainment programming organization, I gained experience as a booking agent by communicating with artist managers, talent agencies, and artists to bring live music to Texas A&M’s campus. As the social media and digital marketing intern at Brain Candy Management in Nashville, I assisted with the photoshoot for the cover art of Summer Belt’s song “Trigger Happy” and served as a production assistant for the music video. In 2022, I wrote, recorded, and independently released two original songs and a licensed cover for my undergraduate honors capstone.
