I am currently a senior at Arizona State University. In May 2019, I will graduate with a degree in Communication, and a certificate in Special Events Management. I aim to work in the music industry upon graduation. During my time at ASU, I co-founded, and was President of Music Industry Club. In this club, I learned multiple industry skills, and have aided 3 Arizona music festivals with promotion/volunteering.

Lindsey's Experience

As a student, I have not had much real world experience, but have actively pursued many opportunities. In Music Industry Club, I assisted other leadership with co-planning meetings, communicating with speakers, planning events, assisting with budgeting, created graphics/promotional material, brainstormed meeting ideas, and more. I have done street team/promotional work for 2 Arizona Music Festivals; Innings Festival (2018, 2019), and FORM Arcosanti (2018, 2019.) Given the certificate in Special Events Management that I will soon graduate with, I have an understanding of how to plan special events, and what is required to do so successfully.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
