About Liz Farrow

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area now based in West London, I bring over 25 years of experience in events, media, live music, and entertainment, with a primary focus on production and some editorial. I worked at the BBC in a multilingual capacity across several departments for nearly 20 years, until my role ended in 2025 due to redundancy. During that time, I facilitated and organised outside broadcasts and film shoots at concert venues and various locations across the UK and internationally. Throughout my career, I’ve been a key member of production teams, handling logistics, admin, and securing visas for global TV crew deployments, including assignments in high-risk areas. Known by colleagues as the "master organiser," I have extensive experience working on large-scale events, including festivals like Radio 1's Big Weekend with BBC Sounds. In addition to my production background, I have contributed to the BBC's creative output, producing digital video content in different languages, across TV, radio, social media, and online platforms. I currently work as a production coordinator for events and film shoots, with a foundation in live music production. Before joining the BBC, I was a stage tech / production assistant, supporting stage and production managers at iconic venues such as The Fillmore, Shoreline Amphitheatre, and The Warfield in the SF Bay Area. With decades of hands-on experience and a wide array of transferable skills, am looking for a new project in 2026. Please reach out with any queries.
