About Lola L’amour

Lola L’amour is a Mexican- American singer and actress. Born in Redwood City, California, Lola began her career at the age of 15 performing for telethons on local television stations and performing for her community. In 2007, she began recording alongside local rap artists in the bay area and landed her first television appearance on a singing competition on the Azteca Television series Cante y Gane, where she won. She continued to record studio singles with local producers and collaborate with local artists in the Bay Area. Her musical style is R&B Pop sound with an old soul. While auditioning for projects in 2010, Lola was introduced to Big Wes Crockett, a well known music promoter who introduced her to many amazing writers and producers like Grammy Award Winning Songwriter; Greg Curtis, who dubbed her “the next Selena,” impressed by her voice both in Spanish and English. Meeting so many influential writers and producers through Big Wes led to some ghost writing opportunities on records produced by Derryck (Big Tank) Thorton. In 2014 she made her European debut on the studio single Champion (2014) for Parisian band, We Are Me (Atmospheriques). She continued to work with the Atmospheriques label on several records as a vocalist until 2015. In 2016, Lola was cast as a student in Selena Gomez’s Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, where she spent 8 months filming in California’s Sonoma county and the Bay Area. Lola continues to produce, write songs, and record and collaborate with producers on an upcoming musical release in 2021.
