Pernishia wears many hats professionally and personally. While being a wife and full-time mom of a 4 and 1 year old, she works as a Junior A&R at Makin’ It Magazine, Public Relations for Detroit’s saxophonist, Saxappeal and part-time blogger for her own music blog ( www.thezerdabreaks.com ) created on March 2020. Surprisingly, it was not until the unexpected pandemic, Pernishia was finally able to embark on a newfound journey of combining her calling of helping others and her passion for music. In just a matter of months, Pernishia has managed to create her own music blog that highlights independent Detroit artist/musicians, assist in music reviews and artist development for Makin’ It Mag, as well as creating media and consumer awareness via social media platforms, radio, print and television. Pernishia holds a BS in Technical Management and Business from Devry University and is currently enrolled in the Music Industry Essentials Program at NYU.
