Having graduated with an MBA in Marketing, my focus has been unwavering in pursuing a career within the creative and entertainment industry. Unlike other fields, this sector uniquely blends my educational background with my deep-seated passion for all things entertainment. My experience as a Talent Manager at Silvertree provided me with a strong foundation in managing the day-to-day operations for artists, directly mirroring the requirement to assist in managing client diaries, ensuring all bookings and commitments are accurately scheduled. This included coordinating schedules and liaising with various stakeholders. My responsibilities included portfolio management for 10+ clients in the South Indian Film Industry, where I honed my skills in market research, project management, marketing, and communications. This experience has equipped me with the adaptable and proactive approach needed to anticipate client needs and contribute effectively to the team. My experience in royalty data keeping coupled with my degree in accounting and finance demonstrates a keen eye for detail and accuracy, crucial for assisting in handling contracts and invoicing processes, ensuring timely payments. Apart from supporting marketing efforts for artists I was also incharge of attending events with our artist clientele which honed my skills in event coordination from generating leads, liaising with clientele and various parties like sound engineers, hospitality etc. to receiving the final payment for the event to ensure smooth operations. During my tenure I was incharge of spearheading the label – Kudo Spiritual which involved meticulous project management, ensuring seamless execution of creative, strategic and administrative efforts for over 15 acts, requiring excellent organisational skills and attention to detail providing exceptional support to seniors and managers. Despite having no prior experience, I proactively took on full operational responsibility for the label, demonstrating my initiative and ability to take ownership of complex tasks. As part of this responsibility, I also had to liaise with different departments to manage operations and stay up to date with the latest trends. With hands-on experience working in the entertainment industry, I honed core skills like managing complex projects, coordinating logistics for shoots and events, managing and planning tours for artists and maintaining confident communication with clients’ core teams. My proactive approach to identifying opportunities and suggesting new ideas, as demonstrated by the growth of Kudo Spiritual, demostrates my strategic thinking skills. I am a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. My collaborative nature and proven ability to work effectively within teams, as highlighted by my experience in ensuring seamless cross-departmental coordination, make me confident in my ability to seamlessly integrate in various work environments.
