About Maia Mohammadi

Hi! My name is Maia, I’ve worked on major projects like Brooklyn 99 and the Dick Wolf slate on the production side and am now looking to get into Sync licensing/Music Supervision. I have a deep passion for artists with diverse backgrounds and am particularly interested in the rapidly changing digital landscape and its commercial impact on emerging artists. I am currently completing the UCLA Certificate in Music Supervision and have completed a course in music publishing which covers publishing, copyright, royalties and license structure. I have also completed my second course in music supervision for television and film which looks at the different functional roles within sync and the music industry as a whole. I have learned to perform song searches, draft quote requests, creatively pitch, and assess the budgetary aspects of a particular license. I also independently produce and have been tracking and organizing all of my collaborations through Disco. Additionally, I have an ongoing independent artists playlist and I like to update my instagram stories every Friday with the top five new releases I've been listening to for the past week. Maia's Experience

I have experience in television production and production finance where I have learned about the production cycle, built relationships with producers and writers, and learned to estimate and assess budgetary concerns. I have taken courses through UCLA where I had actively created mock sync briefs, mock quote requests, cue sheets, and creatively pitched to mock briefs for advertising and tv spots.
