Colombian born and Miami raised, Maria Moreno is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and pianist whose vocal prowess pays homage to Latino and Pop stars such as Shakira, Jesse y Joy, Ed Sheeran, and more! Her musical style taps into her love for lyrics and their ability to affect the listener’s emotions. Both her relatable lyrics and enchanting vocals combine to create a unique sound reminiscent of the singer-songwriter genre, while adding some Latin flair to the mix. Maria began writing as a form of cathartic release and self-therapy, and through the years, she’s opened herself up to the audience-- giving them a glimpse into her past and opening the doors to her soul. She has played at OpenStage Club, Baru Latin Bar, and La Covacha in Miami, FL. Now an NYU Music Business student, she is looking to share her music with New York City and devote herself to her new fan base.
