About Maria Escamilla

As an avid concert-goer growing up, it’s not surprising my job is behind the scenes. Volunteering every summer at local music festivals in my hometown of Ottawa, Ontario, I got the rush of live music, and have been chasing that feeling ever since. Wanting to get as close as possible (literally) I realized I need to be in the pit..as a photographer! I was lucky enough to freelance for a few years and even got the chance to shoot at Lollapalooza, twice. After that, I began working in fan-facing positions in venues, which deepened my love for concerts and the magic it brings to people. I decided to pursue my love for music without any talent, so I went back to school for Business and Marketing. In 2015 I landed at Live Nation Canada. Reporting directly to Senior Promoter, Emmanuel Patterson, I’ve managed cross-country tours with Canadian and International talent. When I’m not bouncing around from show to show, you can find me practicing yoga, planning upcoming travels and drinking red wine.
