Megan's Experience

I am a full time songwriter/producer – I’ve worked with a wide range of artists, writers, and producers throughout the US as well as in the UK, Thailand & South Korea. I studied Songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston and my instruments include voice, piano, guitar and violin. My preferred DAW is Ableton, but I also like to work in Logic for Vocal Arrangements. I’ve co-written / co-produced about 10 commercially released singles for independent folk, pop, and R&B artists based in New York and LA. I also have experience in artist management, tour management, and hospitality. I worked at a boutique artist management firm based in Boston and New York for 3.5 years where I worked as a Day-To-Day Manager dealing with everything from disseminating information between artist and the rest of their team (label, publisher, merch company, touring party, etc) as well as manage merchandise stores, designs, inventory, etc and putting together tour budgets, interviewing and hiring crew for tours, advancing shows, etc. In that job I learned how to also negotiate international and domestic licenses, coordinate single and album campaigns alongside major and indie labels, and overall development of artists and their careers through music releases, touring, and experiential marketing. I now spend a portion of my time coordinating backstage and dressing room needs at a handful of 1500-2000 capacity venues in Brooklyn and Manhattan when I’m not writing — but my priority and love is always the art of the song and storytelling.
