About Michelle Rivera

My name is Michelle Rivera. I’m a 25 years old Venezuelan born, South Florida based musician, content creator and podcaster. After 10 years of being trained as a classical music clarinetist and orchestral conductor, I learned that music schools do not teach you how to actually make a living out of being a musician, or how the music business works in real life. I moved to the United States in 2018, and since then I have been on a personal and professional journey, rediscovering and re-inventing (my own) ways to connect with music and to communicate to the world what I am passionate about; which is when I started creating content for social media under the name of Drama Is My Cardio, by sharing videos about musical breakdowns of songs/albums, playlist curations, and live shows experiences, plus a podcast where I interview creatives and artists to talk about how the music industry works from within. I started investing in online classes to learn about brand development, social media content marketing and strategies, as well as the insights of music business, and how record labels, music publishing, booking and management organizations function. Simultaneously, I have worked for several companies gathering office administrative experience, specializing in customer service, project coordination and scheduling, billing and marketing reports, and handling company communications.
