I am a singer, songwriter, dancer, marketing strategist and a mom. I love music, and the power that it has to connect us to one another, and to ourselves. My son has inherited my love of music, and it was through watching him sing songs that he hears on the radio, and creating his own melodies to dance to, that I realized he was mirroring me. And it reminded that I never want to stop creating and sharing music with myself, my family and the world.

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.
