Stefni's Experience

I have worked with several musicians that have taught me so much along my musical journey. I have always performed live with musicians. At first I started out with Mariachi, where I constantly was singing with a Mariachi group. Which lead me to working with producers that had an interest in recording my vocals for their own projects. At first, I was just singing on their tracks, then I started translating songs for them, which then led to me co-writing both English and Spanish songs. I then started working with various producers, composers and musicians – co-writing songs in various genres. Then, I started working with various composers on their projects and their catalogs where I was met with the challenge and opportunity to write outside of my comfort zone. To be honest I never would had seen myself working on country and experimental hip-hop songs before, but that is the fun part as a songwriter is to keep the juices flowing and constantly be willing to learn and grow. I have written top-liners and co-written Experimental and EDM songs for DJs. In my experience there is nothing like performing live. I have always had a band, I have worked with both Spanish and English: cover bands, a jazz quartet, a pop group, to a pop-rock band (which is my own project that I am actively in). I love collaborating and working with musicians because everyone always has something different to bring to the mix. I am not afraid of a challenge, but I will say the one constant in my musical journey is that I am usually the only female in the room, sometimes the only Latina. I am so excited to network with other women and work on changing the face of the entertainment industry.
