About Naydeen Rodriguez

Creative Strategist | Entertainment Executive | Cultural Connector For Naydeen Rodriguez, culture has never been confined to a single industry, discipline, or creative expression. A second-generation Puerto Rican born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, her perspective was shaped by the intersection of music, community, storytelling, and the entrepreneurial spirit of New York City. What began as a curiosity for the arts has evolved into a career dedicated to connecting creative vision with audiences, building meaningful experiences, and championing the people and ideas that move culture forward. With over a decade of experience spanning music, radio, television, creative production, and entertainment marketing, Naydeen has built a career rooted in curiosity, resourcefulness, and an instinct for recognizing cultural opportunities. Currently serving as Director of Artist Brand Strategy and Marketing at Roc Nation Distribution, she develops audience-first campaigns, creative strategies, and cross-functional partnerships that connect artists with communities and drive cultural and commercial impact. Long before entering the corporate music business, Naydeen was creating opportunities of her own. Influenced by the lyricism of Jay-Z, Jadakiss, and Tupac, alongside the sounds of Don Omar and Ivy Queen, she developed an appreciation for storytelling and the cultural movements surrounding music. Her creative interests extended into photography, videography, dance, acting, and poetry, eventually leading her into New York City’s nightlife scene as a photographer capturing emerging and established talent. These experiences gave her an early understanding of how music, fashion, identity, and community intersect to shape culture. While pursuing her education at Borough of Manhattan Community College and Brooklyn College, where she earned degrees in business management and communications, respectively, Naydeen continued building her experience across media and entertainment. She served as president of her college radio station and pursued opportunities with The Source, Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, and BET Networks. Her work across radio, television programming, talent interviews, and content production strengthened her ability to connect creative storytelling with audience engagement. Her transition into the record business began at Def Jam Recordings, where she managed and contributed to more than 200 music video and content projects, collaborating with artists, directors, production companies, and creative partners. Working across projects involving Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, Dave East, DaniLeigh, Logic, and Jhené Aiko, she developed a foundation in visual storytelling, production management, creative collaboration, and the business of bringing artistic ideas to life. In 2019, Naydeen joined Roc Nation, where her career evolved from creative production into artist brand strategy and integrated marketing. Her work has included campaigns for WILLOW, Lil Uzi Vert, Vic Mensa, Conway the Machine, and HDBeenDope, among others. From helping amplify WILLOW’s crossover success to developing culturally resonant campaigns that integrate music, content, live experiences, strategic partnerships, and direct-to-fan engagement, her approach is grounded in understanding the relationship between artists, audiences, and the communities that shape their influence. Beyond traditional music marketing, Naydeen has helped bring together creative collaborators and brands to develop experiences that exist at the intersection of culture and commerce. Her work reflects a belief that the most compelling campaigns are not simply promotional moments, but opportunities to build lasting connections, inspire participation, and create cultural relevance. Equally important to her professional journey is her commitment to mentorship, education, and community. Through her work with Carnegie Hall’s The B-Side program, Naydeen has helped introduce more than 150 young people to the possibilities of careers in the music industry, sharing practical knowledge, industry perspectives, and access to professional networks. Her commitment to creating pathways for emerging talent is informed by her own unconventional journey and a belief that opportunity should not be limited by proximity, background, or access. As she looks toward the next chapter of her career, Naydeen’s ambitions extend beyond the traditional boundaries of the music business. Inspired by the possibilities of multidisciplinary creative leadership, she is focused on expanding her work across entertainment, film, fashion, brand development, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy. For Naydeen, success is not defined solely by a title, company, or individual achievement. It is measured by the ideas brought to life, the communities strengthened, the opportunities created for others, and the lasting cultural impact of the work. Her vision is to build a legacy that connects creativity, culture, commerce, and community, while creating space for the next generation to imagine and pursue possibilities of their own.
