Montreal-based, Nicole Arrage is a pop singer/songwriter and music business/marketing geek. She is inspired by soulful pop that composes her contagious melodies, mixed with the nostalgia of honest lyrics, topped with the occasional funky baselines. Nicole draws influences from Tori Kelly, Dua Lipa, Zedd, Tom Misch, among others. Her artistic canvas showcases a remarkable vocal versatility, creating a vibe that is uniquely her own. Her single "Upside Down" was featured on Apt613's music video of the week and picked up by Stingray "PalmaresADISQ". Nicole studied jazz voice & composition at École de musique Vincent-d'Indy and has a degree in Jazz voice performance from McGill University. During her studies, she acted in many musicals as a lead and performed in prestigious events such as McGill’s McCall-McBain 200 Million $ donation ceremony, Orford Musique with Ranee Lee, the Segal Centre for Performing Arts and TEDx. She is now focusing her career on being a recording artist, releasing her own pop-infused music, collaborating as a singer or writer with songwriters/artists and writing for sync. She is the recipient of the 2016 Aura Award of Excellence and the Pierre Lapointe & Christine Harkness scholarship. When not doing music, Nicole can be found directing, live switching, filming and editing music related video content for other artists, music festivals, operas, orchestras and musicals.
