Nicole's Experience

Nicole Sophia is a prolific singer-songwriter and topliner known for her impeccable storytelling lyrics and addictive melodies. Her lyrically driven brand of indie pop/rock radiates joy, bad-assery, and vulnerability. Inspired by artists like Hozier, Joni Mitchell, Sara Bareilles, Maggie Rogers, and Florence And The Machine, Nicole Sophia gravitated to songwriting at a very young age, despite not hailing from a musical family. As a sensitive child with a curious, impassioned heart and an overactive mind, “the girl of a thousand questions” turned to music and songwriting as a way to make sense of the beautiful messiness of being human. As a songwriter, Nicole has collaborated on a wide range of projects spanning genres such as pop, indie rock, country, folk, EDM and musical theater. Boasting a range of songwriting credits, there is nothing Nicole Sophia loves more than translating complex human experience into melodies and lyrics.
